Bits Tailor at The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2014

It was a beautiful Sunday of Autumn, coppery leaves were dancing under the sun.
It was a perfect day for a ride between gentlemen for a great cause. Indeed, it was the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, so I took Bonnie out to Rambouillet and the valley de Chevreuse (France).

For those who are not familiar with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, it is an international event that rises funds to help finding a cure to prostate cancer.

An annual ride is organised in most big cities around the world where the Gentleman's attitude and outfit are mandatory while riding classic motorcycles, café racers, bobbers and other stylish rides.

The goal of this very distinctive event is to put the light on this plague that still hits so many men by doing something that will be shared and make the whole world aware of.
Style, beautiful rides, a distinguished attitude, a great cause, well it sounded like the perfect event tailored just for me!

When we imagined Bits Tailor more than two years ago, the humanistic and altruistic aspect were essential to our approach. So it made perfect sense to get involved from the beginning of Bits Tailor.

As you might have noticed, at the DGR, I was wearing a 3D printed bow tie.
It is the perfect opportunity for me to introduce you to the Movember bow tie, a tie in the shape of a mustache, inspired by the eponym movement. The cause is the same, support research and make people aware of men's health by wearing the mustache in November becoming a MoBro or a Mo Sista.

This bow tie isn't your average one, it will create surprise, discussions and like most of our accessories, it is customizable with your name or a message of your choice.

When purchasing a Movember bow tie, you are supporting the cause by making a donation and we do a donation as well to the Movember Foundation because united, we are always stronger.

At Bits Tailor, being involved is in our DNA because we strongly believe that it's possible to consume, to have fun while supporting great causes.

Please find below more pictures of the event.
A special thanks to Chazster and 4h10.
